Scheme Name  Pre-Matric Scholarship For Students Belonging To Minority Community
Objective  The scholarship at pre-matric level will encourage parents from minority communities to
send their school going children to school, lighten their financial burden on school
education and sustain their efforts to support their children to complete school education.

Scholarship Amount  1)Admission fee from class VI to X
for hostelers Rs.500/per anum subject to actual.
for day scholars Rs.500/per anum subject to actual.
2)Tuition fee from class VI to X
for hostelers Rs.350/per month subject to actual.
for day scholars Rs.350/per month subject to actual.
3)Maintenance allowance is payable for a period not exceeding 10 months in an
academic year.
(I) class I to V
for hostelers nil
for day scholars Rs. 100/per month
(II) class VI to X
for hostelers Rs. 600/per month subject to actual.

Elibility Criteria  50% marks in the previous final examination.
annual income of
parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs 1 lakh
Documents/Collaterals reqd 1.Scholarship application form
2.Self-attested passport size photograph with signature
3.Attested copies of certificates of educational qualifications by gazetted officer
4.Income declaration – affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper for self-employed parents/guardian or income certificate from the employer for employed parents/guardian
5.Proof of permanent residence
6.Receipt in acknowledgment of scholarship in the previous year duly countersigned
by the head of the school/institute
7.Minority community declaration – affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper by the
student that he/she belongs to any one of the minority communities notified by
central government
