Objective The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to the poor and
meritorious students belonging to minority communities to enable them to
pursue professional and technical courses.

30% Earmarked For Girl Students
Funds Available  –
Scholarship Amount Admission and course/tuition fee (day sch & hosteler): actual subject to a maximum ceiling of Rs 20,000/year.
Maintenance allowance/month for 10 months for hosteler : Rs 1000/month
Maintenance allowance/month for 10 months for day sch: Rs 500/month
Elibility Criteria  Students who get admission to a college to pursue technical/professional courses, on the basis of a competitive examination will be eligible. those who have not faced any competitive examination but have not got less
than 50% marks at higher secondary/graduation level are also eligible.
annual income ofparents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh PA
Documents/Collaterals reqd  1.Scholarship application form
2.Self-attested passport size photograph with signature
3.Attested copies of certificates of educational qualifications by gazetted officer
4.Income declaration – affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper for self-employed parents/guardian or income certificate from the employer for employed parents/guardian
5.Proof of permanent residence
6.Receipt in acknowledgment of scholarship in the previous year duly countersigned
by the head of the school/institute
