Scheme Name Centrally-Sponsored Scheme Of Pre Matric Scholarship For Scheduled Caste Students
Objective To support parents of sc children for education of their wards
studying in classes IX and X so that the incidence of drop-out,
especially in the transition from the elementary to the secondary
stage is minimized

Funds Available -
Scholarship Amount Scholarship for day scholars RS 150 for hostelers RS350 per month for ten months total from date of joining to examination completion
scholarship (rs. p.m.) for day scholars 750 for hostelers 100 per month for ten months total from date of joining to examination completionAllowances for students with disabilities
Studying in private un-aided schools:
(I) monthly reader allowance for blind
students 160 rs
(II) Monthly transport allowance for students
with disabilities 160 Rs
(III) Monthly escort allowance for severely
disabled 160 rs
(v)Monthly coaching allowance to mentally
retarded and mentally ill students
240 Rs
Elibility Criteria St students with parents income less than 2LPA and having regular school admission can avail one time scholarship for one year only.school authority letter. bank account.
