Andhra Pradesh Government has launched new scheme ” Dulhan Scheme” for the marriage of Poor Muslim girls belonging to the minority community.The “Dulhan” Scheme Proposes a one-time financial assistance of Rs. 50,000 to each Minority girl at the time of marriage . Mandatory for apply one month before the Marriage DULHAN SCHEME

Required eligibility and conditions for applying AP Dulhan Marriage Scheme:

  1. The unmarried girl must belong to the minority community
  2. The unmarried girl must be a resident of AP State
  3. The unmarried girl should have completed 18 years of age and the Bridegroom should have completed 21 years at the time of Marriage
  4. The income of the bride parents should not more than Rs.1,00,000/- per annum

Document required for applying AP Dulhan Marriage Scheme:

  1. Birth certificate of both
  2. Aadhar card of both compulsory
  3. Community certificate
  4. Permanent residence proof
  5. Wedding card if available
  6. Voter ID
  7. Ration card if available
  8. Bank passbook copy of both
  9. Bank details e.g. IFSC code, MICR code, branch name, account number
  10. Latest photograph of both
  11. Passport size photograph
  12. After marriage perform the beneficiary should submit joint photograph of both and marriage certificate

 

  • Note: All documents must be scanned minimum size of scanned document is 50kb and maximum is 150kb

After the beneficiary applies on online and the information shall be forwarded to concerned Tahsildar of the Current Residential Address of the Bride who shall verify the details and forward the same on online to the District Minorities Welfare Officer within one week positively.
After the online Application is received from the Tahsildar, the District Minorities Welfare Officer would sanction the incentive on online as per budget availability.
The incentive shall provisionally be sanctioned 10 days prior to the Marriage for the beneficiaries who apply one month before the Marriage and the incentive amount shall be released / credited into the bride’s account only after producing Nikah Nama / Marriage Certificate issued by Khaji / Pastor / any other competent authority within 60 days from the date of Marriage.
After the Marriage, the District Minorities Welfare Officer shall verify the performance of the Marriage and confirm the information through online and take action to transfer an amount of Rs.50,000/- through online into the Bride’s Account.
